This retro building was constructed in 1923. The attorney who inherited the building from his father spent 10 years turning it into an art gallery himself, which now serves as a venue for art, music, and dramatic performances. Every corner of the building, from the basement to fourth floor, features unique details. The autumn 2009 NHK serial TV drama Werukame was shot here.
