A spot between 3 and 4-chome that recalls the city’s history and a young couple

Meotobashi Bridge once spanned the Temma Horikawa River. Before the river was extended at the end of the Edo period, the bridge crossed Meoto Pond, which was named after a young long-lost couple who once lived nearby. In the year 2000, the local shopping street association restored some of the light posts and handrails between 3 and 4-chome.
