This museum opened in 1989, carrying on in the tradition of the museum of science and electricity that was once in Yotsubashi. The unique staff design exciting exhibits and science shows. The exhibits from the first to fourth floors cover everything from outer space to everyday science and are fun for visitors of all ages. The famous planetarium dome on B1F is one of the largest in the world, recreating starry scenery with cutting-edge projectors. Programs where skilled staff provide live running commentary are popular.
