This facility opened in 1997 as the first true children’s museum in Japan. Packed with plenty of exciting activities for kids such as the mysteries of science, culture and entertainment from around the world, and workshops, it’s also a great place for moms and dads with babies thanks to the nursing rooms and playrooms. Kids Town is the heart of the museum and was designed by world-famous Viennese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. This colorful town that looks like it came out of a pop-up book is a giant playground for kids.
